2016 Workshops at McMaster House
Many of you will already know that the Manitoba Teachers’ Society offers a number of professional development opportunities each year (we told you about some of them in July and in the October and December newsletters). There are only eight more McMaster House workshops in 2016, and those that have been put on so far have been very popular and well-attended. Here is a snapshot of what is coming up:

EdLeaders Unconference – April 20, 2016
EdLeaders Unconference is an ad-hoc gathering for school leaders, coordinators, coaches, consultants, and learning support teachers. It is a conversational event featuring discussions, demos, and interactions between participants rather than a group of people listening to a particular speaker. Our Unconference is a free conference for anyone involved in education. Participants themselves determine the content on the morning of the event by extending invitations to teach, to learn, and to dialogue about issues, experiences, and innovations in education. Technology is used to enable and support content and is a good opportunity to see edtech implemented in authentic ways.
